Board of Advisors

Norfolk Youth Basketball board of advisors is below and being expanded soon! We are grateful for the support of the Norfolk Recreation Department, who sponsors us to make this program possible.

Doug Lindland

A 4 year starter from 1979-1982 and all time leading scorer at Gordon College (1650 points) until record recently broken, Doug has been around Youth Basketball for the last 15 years. He has been featured in the Salem Evening News  and other newspapers and has grown the Hamilton-Wenham Youth Basketball program to over 600 boys and girls from K-8th Grade. He is the Commissioner for the Cape Ann Boys Travel Basketball League (www.capeannyouthbasketball.com) the Founder and Commissioner for the Eastern Travel League (www.easternhoopleague.com ) and founded and runs the Eastern MA Basketball Summer League for Boys and Girls with over 1,700 youth players.   Doug is also on the Board of Advisors for Weston Youth Basketball www.westonyouthbasketball.com) A webmaster by trade, Doug runs over 100 web sites for small businesses all over the USA.

- Averaged 33 points and 11 rebounds as a senior at Bishop Fenwick

- Catholic Central League MVP (1996-98)
- Scored 2,473 points in four seasons at Bishop Fenwick...that ranks

- fourth in Massachusetts state history.
- Connected on 64 3 pointers as a freshman at Providence, the most
- ever by a freshman in school history
- Tri-Captain of the 2002-2003 Ohio State basketball team
- Averaged 12 points a game as a senior at Ohio State

Sean McInnis

Coach McInnis brings 16 years of high school and youth coaching experience to the Norfolk Basketball Coaching staff. He has coached the last seven seasons at Weston High School as the Girls Varsity Coach. After taking the helm of the Wildcats in 2001 the girls basketball program has started to flourish under his guidance. During his tenure the Wildcats have qualified for the State Tournament four years and posted the best regular girls basketball season record in school history. During his tenure over 90% of his athletes each year have been academic honor role students as well as outstanding members in the community. Coach McInnis came to Weston high School via the Wakefield basketball program where he coached for 10 years with their boys program.

Coach McInnis is now the new King Philip High School Boys Basketball Varsity coach for 2008-09!

Coach McInnis is also a member of the Norfolk, Ma community as he and his family live in town and activity support the Norfolk recreation department and the other quality sports programs for youth in town. Coach McInnis believes in teaching the kids how much fun a sport can be while giving each player the fundamental skill sets needed to advance as they grow with the sport.

Colleen Hill

Colleen Hill was appointed the new Junior Varsity Basketball Coach at Weston High School August of 2006. Coach Hill also assumed the role as the assistant to the Athletic Director at Weston High School. She is a graduate of Regis College in Weston, MA, where she competed at the college level from 2002-2006. Prior to playing basketball at Regis College Colleen was a member of the Arlington Catholic High School Girls Basketball team. While as a member of their varsity team her teams won three Catholic Conference championships, and qualified for the state tournament all four years. Colleen was also a member of the Regis College and Arlington Catholic Girls softball in addition to while at Arlington Catholic she was member of the girls cross country team.
